The Nissan NV200 is a light commercial van with a small appearance, which hides a spacious load area. Perfect for urban driving it is available in E, SE and n-tec versions with a choice of 3 specifications – Visia, Acenta and Tekna.
The Nissan NV400 is a vehicle that can be adapted to suit many commercial needs. It is not only available as a standard panel van but also as a Crew Van and a Crew Bus. Available in many sizes and specs the NV400 can carry heavy loads and still delivery good fuel economy and low carbon emissions. A list of conversions is also available including the Tipper, Dropside, Box van and even more!
The Nissan Navara Pick-up is the commercial version of the Nissan Pathfinder vehicle but with flatbed pick up in place of the Pathfinder body. It features many of the same features as the Pathfinder’s. The Navara is a high performance pickup vehicle designed for both business and pleasure and suits the owner who is more image conscious. Available in 3 specs – the Visia, Tekna and Outlaw, this is a double cab pickup that offers high quality and high performance both inside and out.
The Nissan NT400 Cabstar
The Nissan NT400 Cabstar is both compact and spacious with a variety of payloads that have been optimised for greater efficiency. Its best in class payload is space saving on the outside whilst being extremely spacious on the inside. Its cab over engine design offers a different driving experience to more mainstream commercial vehicles but this has its advantages by way of a more manoeuvrable vehicle with a smaller turning circle and increased visibility.
The Nissan Engine
From the Electric only and the 1.5DCi 89hp engine that comes with the NV200 compact panel to the 3.0 litre automatic transmission diesel engine the focus is on performance and economy.
The 1.5DCi 89hp and 110hp engine of the NV200 can deliver up to 57.65mpg fuel consumption and low CO2 emissions of 128g/km.
The NV400’s 2.3-litre diesel engine is available in 100hp, 125hp or 150hp. The fuel economy that can be achieved depends on the drive mode. Front wheel drive will deliver consumption of 31-34pmg and CO2 emissions of 214-233g/km while the rear wheel drive will give 29-31mpg and emissions of 237-252g/km. Stop start is available with the 100 and 125hp versions reducing emissions to 161g/km.
The 2.5 litre DCi diesel engine offers 144hp on the Navara Visia increases to 190hp with the Navara Teckna model. The Nissan Navara Outlaw has a 3.0 litre diesel engine and is automatic only. Fuel consumption ranges from 30.4mpg to 33.6mpg version increasing to between 37.2 and 39.8mpg with on the Extra Urban version with CO2 emissions of between 215 and 226 g/km.
And finally the Cabstar with three choices of engine available – the Basic, Basic+ and Pro the 2.5L Diesel High Output engine is available in a choice of 120 or 140hp.
Nissan Commercial Van Features
As well as the standard features of the Nissan commercial range there are extra option packs to further enhance the performance and driving experience as well as increasing safety. The Comfort Pack offers amongst other things a pollen filter! Not something you see on every spec list. Other options include Nissan Connect by Tomtom integrated satellite navigation, a Digital tachograph and Limited Slip Differential.
For safety there is Advanced Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist throughout the van range and with the added features of rear view camera and parking sensors there are even more features to avoid unnecessary bumps and scrapes.
The stand out feature of the Nissan range though has to be the cab over engine Cabstar, which along with the vehicle’s large, windscreen, gives the driver more height and greater visibility with a cab that’s designed for greater comfort on those long haul journeys.
